Welcome to the future home of something different and the future home of Thinkercast.
Thinkercast will be the first in a long line of alternative media projects brought to you by TLDR Press. The goal of this podcast is to provide you with a new media experience based on the ideas of challenging everyday thought and inspiring intellectual debate and diversity of opinion. After all, if everyone is thinking alike, then no one is thinking.
Over the next few days, I hope to have all of the digital assets and licensing put in place to move ahead with production. Once that process is complete, I hope to create all necessary social media accounts and the multiple necessary distribution channels. Some distribution channels from leftover projects may be scrubbed and repurposed to save time from creating something from scratch.
Other necessary things that will need to be put in place or the different methods for ensuring subscribers can show their support through memberships, monetary donations, or even provide logistical support with something newly discovered called the Amazon wish list. I hope that I will be able to support and publish everything myself, but unfortunately, the cost of doing such a thing is prohibitive at times. A domain name for the first year is relatively cheap and the same with hosting. However, licensing of better quality software and improved digital assets comes at a cost. Another cost involved ensuring that the infrastructure supporting the entire podcast is up to date and can handle anticipated growth.
This is something that I genuinely hope will have an impact because I’ve thought about many things, and I think it’s time that we start having honest conversations without fear of reprisal. It’s time we start judging people by the questions they ask and not necessarily by the answer they are given. I look forward to the trailer being complete, as it will be the most fantastic masterpiece I have ever created.
